A Dysfunctional Family of Five Reviews...Starsky and Hutch!

It's a remake...no, it's a spoof...well, it's more like two funny guys who thought it'd be easier to work with an existing franchise rather than make one up from scratch.

Dad: It's so hard to enjoy anything since The Passion of the Christ. I knew it wouldn't be an easy movie, but Jesus, I didn't expect it to be a total buzzkill.

Mom: I just can't get past the shaved dwarf Satan was holding. Where in the Bible does it say that lawn ornaments are hairlessly reanimated in Hell?

Sis: Omigod, everyone says funny is sexy. Look, funny is not sexy, unless you're totally hot in the first place. Didn't Average Joe teach anyone anything?

Bro: I looked just like Starsky in my baby pictures! I could have been cool, but the Catholic Church made me into a lame-looking twerp. Thanks for nothing, Pope guy!

Baby: Stiller has more chemistry with Wilson than he does with Jennifer Aniston (in Along Came Polly earlier this year). Not that there's anything wrong with that. I've seen how Dad acts when his friends come over. They think because I'm a baby I just don't get it. Oh, I do, Dad. Strip poker with a frat paddle and melted lipstick for the losers? You're not the only one who's gonna have a permanent scar.

Verdict: It's rental quality, but if you like these guys, it's probably worth a big screen matinee.
