A Dysfunctional Family of Five Reviews...The Forgotten!

Julianne Moore plays a mother still grieving over the death of her child in a plane crash - or does she? Already, this movie is fading, fading from our memory.

Dad: Jeezum crawfish, I bet this is what happened to all the twenty-dollar bills I've lost over the years. They disappeared into the box office of movies like this! Ha ha! Oh wait, wait, can I "new choice" that comment? No? Aw, drat.

Mom: Hey, honey! What are the chances? This movie's title is sporting my post-coital nickname for you!

Sis: God, it would be so great if I could just forget about all sorts of junk. I'd start with this movie, and then I'd forget all those IM sessions with that guy who turned out to be a 60-year-old cross-dressing lesbian…

Bro: That scene where [edited for spoiler] is just like when I took the shop vac into the yard and sucked up all the grasshoppers! Is Hollywood spying on me?! Or am I the new target demographic?

Baby: They named Julianne Moore's character after Telly, one of my favorite monsters on Sesame Street, so I was kindly disposed to this movie before seeing it. Afterward? Ehhh. Let's just say I didn't mind missing a few minutes due to a mid-movie diaper change.

Verdict: If you're looking for a mild scare, this could be worth a matinee. Otherwise...ehhh.
