A Dysfunctional Family of Five Reviews...Just Like Heaven!

After a summer of dreck, one of two things can happen: You see a movie that's half-decent, and suddenly you think it's a pimped-up ride, or you're so far into the negative that a "Feh" response could be taken as a compliment. Hence the fate that Reese Witherspoon encounters with her ghostly little trifle of a movie.

Sis: Feh. If this didn't have Reese and that indie guy in it, the library wouldn't even buy it.

Mom: Mark Ruffalo, that's who he is, honey. He used to rub my bumper before he started going mainstream and giving it up to the studios like a--

Bro: Umm, Mom, I've got a problem. I...uh...I liked my geography homework better than this movie. I thought anything was supposed to be better than homework! Does this mean I'm turning into a dorkwanger or something? Omigod, I'm a total dorkwanger!

Dad: I thought I wouldn't have to got to movies like this after I got married. This is the [expletive deleted] they never tell you about marriage. That and the Swiffer thing. What's wrong with a [expletive deleted] broom and mop?

Baby: Reese seems so nice. I hope she is in person, too. But sometimes even nice people make me cry. What can I say - I'm a baby! It's not them, it's me. Anyway, you could go see this, but why?

Verdict: Only if you live in a place where you can take good weather for granted.
