A Dysfunctional Family of Five Reviews...Walk the Line!

We can already hear the critics shouting, "It's this year's Ray!" Shut up, critics. It's not. It's like, a completely different movie! With different people and everything! Even the gaffers are different!

Sis: I totally get this movie. If you want the drugs to help your creativity, you have to be alone and conscious. I had it all backwards! Thank Mel I'm 16 and way smarter now.

Mom: The only "burning ring of fire" around here is because of that crock pot chili of my husband's. I think he mistook a teaspoon for a cup when it came to the chili powder. Ooooo...

Bro: [Grimacing, moving to another row of the theater] Omigod, that's sick! It's worse than the insides of some lizards I left rotting in the backyard this summer, even after I spilled the pickle relish on them. Uuuugh!

Dad: I've said it before, and I'll say it again - Wifey, you're lucky to have an olfactory-impaired husband, and for more than just the handicapped parking privileges.

Baby: Will it get Joaquin Phoenix a Best Actor nod like Jamie Foxx's? Probably. Will it get him an Oscar? Probably not. Don't get me wrong, it is a good movie, and it's great to see Reese Witherspoon play a character with more depth than anyone I see on the Disney Channel for once in a blue moon. But this isn't going to be the "Year of the Biopic" like it was last year.

Verdict: Worth a matinee at least.
