 St. Regis Bellhop Gets Subpoena in Plamegate AffairOct 13 2005 by Ross Bender
Bellhop Rogerio D'Escalante, 34, came to the attention of Fitzgerald after he tried to sell what he alleged were "Scooter" Libby's used condoms on eBay. I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby is Chief of Staff to Vice President "Dick" Cheney. Fitzgerald is particularly interested in a "tryst" between Libby and New York Times reporter Judith Miller at the St. Regis Hotel on July 8, 2003, during which, in between bouts of torrid sex, champagne and video screenings of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," Libby allegedly revealed the name of CIA wife Valerie Plame to Miller. D'Escalante, who carried the couple's bags to their room and "listened in" at the door, claims to have obtained not only several used "Purple Dynamite" lubricated condoms, but also an assortment of pubic hairs from the room after the torrid tryst. He is scheduled to testify before the grand jury on Friday. Libby, who studied political science under Paul Wolfowitz at Yale, is a member of "The Vulcans," a humanoid group of neocons with copper-based blood, slightly green-tinted complexions and notably pointed ears, who have infiltrated the White House. Although he reportedly has several wives in Utah, Libby was known to have had the "hots" for Times reporter Miller since they met on a skiing vacation out west in Aspen, Colorado in 2001. D'Escalante, a native of Belize, told reporters only that there was "whole lotsa squealin' and bangin' goin' on" during the lurid St. Regis meet-up.
