Welcome to DeadBrain US!
Aug 4 2003 by Allen Voivod, US Editor
On behalf of the entire DeadBrain community, allow me to introduce you to the latest member of the family: the US edition of DeadBrain. It's been a back-breaking couple of months building the site, and like a good editor, I've been happy to sit back in my fat leather chair and watch it all come together.
Which isn't entirely true - I did take on the onerous task of resetting the "Number of Days Without a Workplace Injury" poster every time an intern smashed his head on a monitor or got herself trapped under a fallen server rack.
The DeadBrain brand has stood for quality satire in the UK for over two years of Internet time, which is the equivalent of 38.49162 human years (we've rounded off the repeating decimal for you), and that doesn't happen without a cadre of dedicated and talented writers, including you. Yes, you! Check out our style guide, submit your article, and you, too, could live in infamy with the rest of us.
As for me, I was promoted from the writer's desk after producing The Rumsfeld Diaries series. Once deemed too hot for American audiences, the series will be added to the US archive to shock and awe new DeadBrain readers.
Well, I've probably taxed your attention span by now, so I'll sign off. Again, thanks for visiting, and we'll give you plenty of reasons to keep coming back for more.
